The Jesus filmFact: The predominant religion of Haiti is voodoo.

Response: Faith in Action International provides basic support to Christian churches to help them reach more people.

This support includes providing musical instruments and teachers, talking Bibles, treadle sewing machines, the use of sound equipment for revivals and the showing of Christian films.

This program encompasses the Child Sponsorship program as well as our Compassionate Care program which might include providing advanced education, support to a blind man, or temporary support to a family whose child is dying or has become very ill and emergency medical treatment is needed.

Voodooists believe that family spirits inherited from ancestors bring problems to the lives of those who fail to offer penance through periodic rituals in which food, drink, and other gifts are offered to the spirits.

By demonstrating the love of Christ in a practical way that improves the lives of many, Faith in Action International is able to teach the people that "Jesus is Solutions, Satan is Problems."

And voodoo mysticism has nothing to do with it.
